BRICS是哪几个单词拼的？

2001年，“金砖四国”的概念被首次提出，指中国、印度、俄罗斯、巴西。这四国作为新兴经济市场的代表，向世界展示出了巨大的发展潜力。

In 2001, the term BRIC was introduced, representing the emerging economies of China, India, Russia, and Brazil. These countries showcased a remarkable potential for economic development.

而这四个国家的英文首字母组成的BRIC，其发音恰好与英语单词的“砖（brick）”相似，所以被称为“金砖四国”。

The combination of the first letters of these four nations forms the acronym "BRIC", which resembles the English word "brick". This is how they became known as the BRIC grouping.

2009年6月，首次金砖四国领导人会晤在俄罗斯叶卡捷琳堡举行，自此正式启动了金砖四国合作机制。

The BRIC grouping's first formal summit was held in Yekaterinburg, Russia in June 2009, where they officially discussed how the four countries could better cooperate and develop as members of the global community.

2011年，南非正式加入这一机制。从此，BRIC变为BRICS，“金砖四国”也因此更名为“金砖国家”。

In 2011, South Africa joined the ranks, transforming BRIC into BRICS, leading to a renaming of the grouping.

今年重要议题：金砖“扩容”

2009年以来，金砖国家领导人会晤每年举行一次，而本次金砖峰会是自新冠疫情以来举行的首场线下峰会。

一直以来，金砖国家秉持着开放包容的态度，试图与更广泛的国际社会展开对话。

BRICS have consistently embraced an open and inclusive stance, aiming to engage in dialogues with the broader international community.

据南非外长潘多尔透露，包括阿根廷、埃塞俄比亚、阿尔及利亚、古巴、埃及、伊朗等23个国家的领导人正式表达了加入金砖机制的意向。

According to South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor, leaders from 23 countries, including Argentina, Ethiopia, Algeria, Cuba, Egypt, and Iran have officially expressed their intention to join BRICS.

外界普遍认为，讨论与接纳金砖新成员国，将是此次会晤最重要的议题。

It is widely believed that discussions surrounding the inclusion of new member countries will be a pivotal agenda item during this summit.

同时，随着金砖国家不断提高国际影响力与号召力，金砖合作者行列持续扩大。本币或第三方货币交易可能会在此次会晤中得到充分讨论，以此为“去美元化”提速。

As BRICS countries further bolster their global influence, the scope of BRICS collaborators continues to expand. Direct currency exchanges or third-party currency transactions may also receive comprehensive deliberation during this summit which could potentially expedite the process of de-dollarization.
